Fox Islands Wind Restructuring

In 2022, the FIEC Board of Directors restructured Fox Islands Wind, a wholly-owned subsidiary of FIEC, by adopting bylaws and appointing a new board of directors. The board appointed George Kendrick, Doug Green, and Chuck Gadzik to provide governance and oversight to FIW. The new directors have no financial interest in FIW other than receiving wind power as members of FIEC. The new board first met in November 2022 and began their official positions in January 2023, appointing Amy Turner as the FIW CEO.

The FIW board does not make decisions for the FIEC board or its members. The FIW board oversees the day-to-day operations of the wind farm, engages with the community, evaluates options, analyzes data, and makes recommendations to the FIEC board for the operation and strategic direction of FIW.
